Dental Implants Overview
Modern Dental Solutions for Missing Teeth
Dental Implant treatment is an advanced revolutionary way to get your complete smile back! No worries or embarrassment about losing your teeth, because today you can restore your lovely smile!
If you have a healthy gum and jaw, then you can easily apply new implants!
The doctors replace teeth roots with artificial dental roots (implants) that play a role as a foundation to hold the prosthetic teeth or bridge.
Dental implant treatment is the ideal way to give you back the ability to chew and smile! You can have that look and feel identical to your original teeth.
During Dental Implant Treatment (6 Steps)
1.
The doctor begins with X-ray, CT and photos to plan the best solution.
2.
Under local anesthesia implants are placed into the bone where the missing teeth once were. The abutments are attached and fix temporary is made.
3.
Over the next few months, the bone naturally fuses with the implants to ensure strong stability.
4.
Once healed precise impressions are taken to design perfectly fitting, natural-looking prosthetic teeth.
5.
A new set of teeth for testing are made before the final ones.
6.
The final teeth are placed securely on the top of the abutments — restoring your confident smile and full chewing function.
Every procedure is completely painless
The conventional procedure:
- We wait for the extraction site to heal (3-6 months).
- The implants are placed into the healed bone.
- A 3-month healing period follows for the bone–implant fusion (osseointegration).
- After healing, the implants are uncovered and healing abutments are placed.
- After another 2–3 weeks, the final abutments can be fitted, and impressions are taken.
- The final restoration is completed in about 2 weeks.
In contrast, with the modern All-on-X procedure:
- The implants and abutments are placed immediately after tooth extraction, and patients receive a fixed temporary restoration the same day.
- After 3–4 months of healing, impressions are taken for the final restoration.
- The final restoration is completed in about 2 weeks.
- The doctor places the artificial teeth on top of the abutment and the journey is officially done!
All-on-4 style, All-on-6 and Zygoma Implants
– What They Are and Who They’re For
What is the fix solution on 4 implants?
The 4 implant technique allows a full arch of fixed teeth to be supported by only four dental implants. The two back implants are placed at a special angle to maximize bone contact and avoid bone grafting.
Most patients can receive a temporary fixed bridge within 24 hours, meaning you leave with a new smile the next day.
Key benefits:
- Fixed teeth within 1–2 days after surgery
- Avoids bone grafting in most cases
- Natural, stable, and aesthetic result
- More affordable than placing individual implants
Best for:
Patients who have lost most or all of their teeth, or whose remaining teeth cannot be saved, and want a permanent, fixed solution instead of removable dentures.
What is the All-on-6 treatment?
The All-on-6 method works on the same principle, but uses six implants to support the full arch restoration. This provides even greater stability, durability, and load distribution — ideal for patients with stronger bite forces or with bone quality or quantity issues. Not every case is solvable with 4 implants. It depends on the anatomy. Sometimes 5, sometimes 6 implants are better.
Key benefits:
- Fixed teeth within 1–2 days after surgery
- Avoids bone grafting in most cases
- Enhanced stability with six implants
- Excellent long-term durability
- Natural look and feel
- Custom-designed smile for each patient
Best for:
Patients with adequate bone volume who want the most secure and long-lasting solution for their full mouth restoration.
What is the Zygoma (zygomatic) implant treatment?
Zygoma implants are a special type of dental implant designed for patients with severe bone loss in the upper jaw, where traditional implants cannot be placed. Instead of anchoring into the jawbone, these implants are fixed into the cheekbone (zygomatic bone), which is naturally strong and dense, providing excellent support for a full arch bridge.
Key benefits:
- No bone grafting required
- Permanent, stable solution even in extreme bone loss cases
Patients who have been told they “don’t have enough bone for implants.”
Zygoma implants often provide the only way to achieve a fixed smile without major bone grafting procedures.
